Of Time and the River - Saugus 1900-2005 was created at the urging of those who enjoyed A Gathering of Memories, also published by Millennium Book Associates. To order the new book by mail, please print the order form.

Of Time and the River serves as a companion to its predecessor, A Gathering of Memories. Included in this new hardcover are interesting local stories, short biographies, color photographs (many by JH) and artwork, all submitted by dozens of contributors.

Also included are hundreds of black and white photographs. Many of these have never been published before. The entire project is superbly presented across almost 400 pages and is devoted exclusively to Saugus and its people. The two books create a comprehensive picture of Saugus over the last century.

Of Time and the River will make a great Christmas gift for anyone with an interest in Saugus. It is a treasure that will be enjoyed now and in future generations.

If A Gathering of Memories was any indication, Of Time and the River will sell out quickly. The first book sold out all 2500 copies.

After expenses, all income from the sale of the book will be directed for scholarships to deserving Saugus High School students via The John Burns Millennium Book Associates Scholarship.
