Nelson's Ride

The 5th Annual Nelson's Ride and Concert, Sunday, August 29, 2004, benefiting the Essex County division of the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor's Fund. Riders helping other rider's families in need! "The Fools" will be play live at this event, open to the public, so ride, drive, walk, run or peddle to Raymond's Field, Route 133 Ipswich. Bike staging begins at 9:30, on Raymond's Field, Route 133, Ipswich. The permitted parade Ride leaves 11:00 SHARP! General admition after 11:15 am. The 40 mile scenic ride through the North Shore will be police escorted, and return to Raymond's Field about 12:30. This is an AMA sanctioned - MMA supported event. The lawn concert with the Fools (www.thefools-band.com) begins at 1:00. Bike games at 3:00. Silent auction, raffles, vendors. Suggested donation $15 a person. Celebrate with us the passage of "Nelly's bill," an act the will put motorcycle awareness in the auto driver training schools. Event shirts, patches and pins available also.
