Silk Road Gala 2003

The Asian Task Force's 10th annual Silk Road Gala will be held Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Marriott Copley Hotel in Boston. The evening will feature multicultural Asian cuisine, a live and silent auction as well as live entertainment. This year's theme is "Silk Road Journey", an ancient trade route that provided unprecedented cultural exchange between the East and West of Asia. This theme further symbolizes the journey battered women take to reach independence. All proceeds benefit The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, Inc., New England's only shelter and advocacy program for battered Asian women and their children.
