trolleys that should make getting from place to place a
snap. The information provided on each event was originally
composed by the event holders themselves and distributed by
the Saugus Chamber of Commerce; the listings here are pretty
much verbatim.
Friday Night -- December 4th

7:00 PM Tree Lighting Ceremony (Saugus Center
Rotary)
Town Manager Steve Angelo will kick off the events of the
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremonies along with Stroll
Chairpersons Tom Gannon of Gannon Real Estate and Marilyn
Censullo of Shuman & Associates, CPAs, P.C.
Santa will arrive courtesy of the Friends of Breakheart
Reservation.
Chimes will be played at the First Congregational Church
by Carolyn Davis.
Saturday -- December 5th
Trolleys
The trolleys will start shortly before 10 AM and the last
run will end at 3:30 PM.
St. Margaret's Church parking lot (located on Jackson
Street) will be open until 3:30 PM for free parking for
trolley riders.
Blessed Sacrament Church parking lot (located on Summer
Street) will also be available until 3:30 PM for free parking
for trolley riders.

trolleys will run this route.)

Historic Saugus Holiday Ornaments
These will be sold at various locations along the Stroll
route, including the Senior Center, Saugus Town Hall, the
Lynnhurst School, and in the
Saugus
Public Library. This year's limited edition ornament
features the
Saugus
Public Library, old and new. The cost will be $6 and all
proceeds will go towards the Saugus High School Scholarship
Fund sponsored by the Saugus Democratic Education Fund.
Saugus.net people will be walking the streets taking pictures
for later online posting. There may also be a few items given
away... Look for local businesses with Saugus.net posters in
their windows.
