Due to the recent "Rehabilitation" project happening at the Saugus Iron Works, Saugus Youth & Recreation will be collaborating with New Hope Assembly for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children in kindergarten to 6th grade are invited to participate. Over 10,000 Easter eggs will be hidden! Come visit the Easter Bunny!

Saugus Teen Council members will be joining dozens of teens from St. Margaret's to save lives of hundreds of children around the world. Young people will gather together and pledge to go without food or SOMETHING else for 30 hours. Participants not only raise money, but also gain a limited understanding of how it feels to go hungry. The schedule for the 30 hours will keep everyone busy with a kick-off teens sharing their stories, games, music, dancing, prayer, reflection, hopefully some will sleep in our cardboard homes. Will also travel to Boston to feed the homeless on Saturday morning, as well as do a few hours of community service at the Youth & recreationn Center, painting the Mural. Just a reminder that with the holiday in Massachusetts, today is actually Tax Day here. Remember to get to your local post office before it closes, and most of the ones around here at least close at 5:00...

Campus MovieFest provided over 5,000 Boston area college students with Apple laptops, camcorders, and training for a week... and they made incredible short movies. The public is welcome to attend this celebration of the top movies, featuring live music by Endway and door prizes including iPods, plane tickets, and a Mac mini. More information and tickets ($7 general admission, $5 for students) are available at Campus MovieFest (it's linked on the event title above).

Come join us in sharing our harvest of Breakheart maple syrup. Pancakes, with Breakheart syrup, sausage, juice, coffee and tea. (Pancakes are all you can eat!). Breakheart "Sapologists": will be on hand to answer questions you may have about the maple sugaring process and its history. A short film will be shown during breakfast as well. Civilian, farm, zoo, hunt, and railroad figures; coyboys, Indians, knights, and Christmas figures; marching bands and military miniatures; plastic figures and playsets, miniature gardens; books, uniforms and badges, artillery and vehicles; Marx, Heyde, Barclay, Grey Iron, Timpo, and others. Over 50 vendors and 100 tables and more. Organized by the North East Toy Soldier Society. $5 donation requested, children under 12 free.

Come down and help support the Troop as they go on their trip to Utah for summer camp. This trip will prove to be an experiance of a life time for the boys, but they need your help. The profits from the ticket sales of this night will go directly towards the boys trip. There will be a 50/50, raffle, and a door prize. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., pizza will be served at 7:00 p.m., and the show will start at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 and this is a 21+ show.
